We Are Staying Open …

Our clinic and environment are as safe as they can be for our patients and staff. The additional Radic8 air filtration system continues to protect everybody who comes through our door. This technology takes Coronavirus out of the air; test results show a 99.99999% kill rate on a single air pass. We also have high volume extra oral suction units installed in every treatment room.

The Covid-19 situation continues to be very fluid one and we are working very hard indeed to maintain the very high standards of patient care and communication that you are used to.

We will be booking your appointments to ensure that the Practice and waiting areas are not overcrowded. We will do this by leaving suitable gaps between appointments, making sure that you can attend the practice while maintaining a suitable distance from one another in accordance with government guidelines.

We will also be creating clinics for patients who are most vulnerable, to help minimize contact with others for this group whilst they are at the practice.

You will be required to complete a Covid pre-screening questionnaire before every dental appointment. This will be done by sending a link to you to our new Patient Portal facility. Please rest assured any touch points within the practice with be sanitized before and after with Hypochlorous Acid solution for surface de-activation of Coronavirus.

To further avoid overcrowding within the building, we ask that you wait in your car and text us when you have arrived, we will send you a text message to reply to. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early & try and attend your appointment alone where possible and ensure you have had a comfort break prior to your appointment. Please leave all your belongings in your car (e.g. coats, bags). Please do bring in your car keys, means of payment ideally a credit or debit card only, please note we are not accepting cash at the moment. You can bring your mobile phone in only if it is being used as a payment method, for example Apple payment. We will notify you via your phone when you should enter the practice. You will be given a mask prior to entry, your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to sanitise your hands and wear a pair or surgical gloves. We will give you a plastic bag to store your keys, payment card or phone.

Between all appointments the dental team will thoroughly disinfect the dental surgery reducing the risk of patient exposure to anything harmful while they are in the chair.

Something to bear in mind is that the personal protective equipment we will be wearing will make us look different. Staff will be wearing additional protective clothing including filtration masks, visors, aprons, gloves. Please do not be alarmed, it is for everyone’s protection and safety.

Team Riley will be doing everything possible to accommodate your requirements moving forwards. If you are concerned about attending your appointment please  contact us is via the normal main practice number – 01782 374330.
