Your first visit with us will be a free consultation with our Treatment Co-Ordinator & our Invisalign® Platinum Provider Gareth Riley who will discuss with you how you feel about your smile & your new smile expectations. He will advise you on the tooth straightening options we have and which product best suits your needs.
He will scan your teeth using some very clever technology called the iTero Element Scanner which will show you an illustration of how your teeth could look after a course of tooth straightening treatment. How clever is that? We can also confirm at this appointment the approximate cost and roughly how long your treatment will take.
Should you decide to go ahead with a new Invisalign smile journey with us we will complete a full dental health examination to ensure you have optimum oral health before we start your treatment. We will then prepare a computer generated 3D animation of your proposed treatment. This will illustrate where your teeth are now and how we will design your new straight smile using the Invisalign aligners.
Once you are happy with the proposed treatment your very own sets of bespoke Invisalign® aligners will be made just for you.

Digital Impressions At The Riley Dental Studio
We are one of the few practices in the Stoke on Trent/Staffordshire area to use an iTero® intra oral scanner.
The scanner is used to map out the mouth in preparation for improvements in the bite and smile. In order to do this the scanner gathers the information needed that indicates the exact position and location of the teeth and gums. With the iTero scanner we can illustrate to you how your teeth look now and how they could look if you had them corrected with Invisalign aligners. How clever is that?

The iTero® scanner works by using digital technology to produce a 3D diagram of the mouth and this becomes the blueprint by which the Invisalign aligners will be made. The scan is much more precise than what is normally achieved with traditional impressions.
Using the digital impressions process with the iTero is fast and comfortable and is a dramatic improvement over the traditional more uncomfortable & messy method. The digital scan is sent electronically to Align Technologies – this transmission is instant and means the process of producing your ClinCheck or making your aligners is much quicker, meaning that you will be on your way to a straighter, more confident smile before you know it!
You’ll wear each clear and comfortable Invisalign aligner for one or two weeks before moving on to the next set in your series of aligners. As each is slightly different from the last, they will move your teeth gradually & gently into the desired position. During treatment you will visit us periodically, usually every 6 – 8 weeks so we can monitor your progress do any adjustments if necessary and provide you with your next set of aligners.
